But as it stands, Leave is 3.22% ahead of Stay. Interesting times.

According to BBC, 500,000 more votes for leave than remain as of right now

It’s gonna come down to London. There are so many more people here but what was the turnout? Interesting times indeed.

I’m morbidly curious about how much less money I now have, with how far the pound’s dropped.

I'm still not sure I understand why people want to leave.

Migrants
Legislation
and just a general flavour of “fuck the government”

10% as of 03:55. Who thought this was a good idea, again?

There are dozens of reasons, but I think most of them come down to Britian’s desire for self-determination. The pundits that say this is primarily due to Migrants seem to want to dismiss this vote as being purely motivated by racism. The British don’t like being told what to do, and don’t care what happens when they go their own way.
One could say the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

“... don’t care what happens when they go their own way”
I care. I care a whole bunch.

Well, as of right now, it seems you are ever-so-slightly in the minority.

Indeed it does. I’ll take what small pleasures I can in all the wonderful ‘I told you so’ moments that our sharp fall into economic irrelevance following a leave vote will give me.
And then look at my bank account and cry.

Oh come now, keep a stiff upper lip! Maybe you should go dust off that old book on Colonialism and get right back at it, you’ve only got 22 countries to go!
Mongolia might be a tough one...

You realise that the kinds of people who like to bang on about how great the Empire was are - in general, at least - also the kinds of people who voted leave, right?

Well obviously. Nationalism doesn’t change its spots.

We’ve pretty much lost. There’s not enough counties left to make up the difference in numbers. It’s all a matter of principle of which counties vote demographically and how much we’re going to lose.

Seems like it’s mainly fear of immigration. That’s the main buzzword used by the Leave campaign.

The only thing left for us to do now is bet on when the rest of the EU will collapse.
Hopefully this business doesn’t get us into another nationalism-fueled European War.
